Our fourth of July was well celebrated. The pictures compose a much better 1000 word essay than I can write, so I'll keep my comments short. Great day, amazing friends, and wonderful memories made!
We miss you Daddy, but our friends are making sure our time is still filled with sun, laughter, and happiness. While you're not in any of these photos, you were definitely on our minds all day, as we celebrated this blessed country in which you're fighting to protect. Your sacrifice is more personal to us since we're part of it, but we're still grateful for what you do. It makes days like this possible.

So cute! I'm glad you had a good time! My kids and I were the only ones wearing red, blue and white in church last Sunday. I felt a little weird considering I'm not even American =)
ReplyDeleteHow weird! I told ya, you need to move back down to the south! Our little branch was very patriotic! Just about everyone was dressed for the day. There's a house for sale on our street, just waiting for you . . . :o)
ReplyDeleteI love dressing my girls up the week before, the week of and the week after, we enjoy the whole month!
ReplyDeleteI'm also glad to read you had a wonderful 4th of July, even if it was missing a big chunk of your family.
What a sweet message! I love the photo of you with your girls and youre each red, white or blue- so cute! Hang in there Liz- you are superwoman and a super mom, I know it cant be easy having Scott gone so much :) We are very thankful for the work he does!
ReplyDeleteOh how we miss you and your sweet girls! I went to a quilt show in Utah and thought of you. Miss you tons and hope you are doing okay :-)
